Town of Buckeye Special Event Application & Forms
It is the Town's goal to permit safe events that minimize adverse impacts to the quality of life for Buckeye residents. To assist organizers of special events to coordinate their plans with Town requirements, we ask that you complete a Special Event Application. The application is reviewed with appropriate Town departments, including Public Works, Streets, Police, Fire, Community Development and Risk Management.
Events requiring special event permits includes the following:
- Events within right-of-way, streets or sidewalks
- Events with outdoor amplified sound
- Events that have impacts on nearby residents and businesses
- Events that require street closures
|
In general, any scheduled outdoor public gathering involving the use of, or having an impact on, public property, public facilities, parks, streets, sidewalks, right-of-ways, vacant land, parking lots, or the temporary use of private property in a manner that varies from its current land use, requires a permit. Weddings, funeral ceremonies, elections, private yard sales, bake sales, Christmas tree and pumpkin sales lot, car washes and activities such as retail sales promotions are excluded.
If you are interested in having a special event in the Town of Buckeye, please complete the entire Special Event Application and return it to the Town of Buckeye Community Services Department at 530 E. Monroe Avenue to initiate the process. Submitting an application should in no way be construed as final approval or confirmation of your request.
